HAS is honoured to be appointed as the ground handling agent of SriLankan Airlines (UL) to provide full passenger and ramp services in Hong Kong with effect from 1 October 2021. SriLankan Airlines, is the flag carrier of Sri Lanka and a member of the oneworld alliance. The airline operates to 113 destinations in 51 countries from its main hub located at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo. Currently, it operates five flights weekly between Hong Kong and Colombo using a fleet of A330 passenger aircraft.
To ensure a seamless handover of the ground handling, HAS worked closely with the airline’s representatives on the preparation and work procedures. Mr. Cheuk Lo, Chief Operating Officer said, “We are excited to welcome SriLankan Airlines as our newest customer. Following a successful and smooth transition, we are ready to showcase HAS’s team spirit and excellence to ensure safe and timely operations.
