Manager – Projects & Resources Planning

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing the short- & long-term resources plans with various Operations Departments and the development of resource planning applications in accordance with the company’s business strategy.
  • Responsible for long term resource plans including operations model in best practice, annual budgets, resource projections for new and existing customers and medium-to-short term plans including forecasts on manpower supply and demand, seasonal manpower and ground support equipment requirements, seasonal master roster plans, rostering rules and guidelines.
  • Lead and manage the Operations Resources Planning and Operation Systems & Development teams in formulating and executing the long-term strategic plans for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal business units within Hong Kong Airport Services Limited and the Cathay Pacific Group to drive initiatives that will improve customer service, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Produce effective resource plans that optimize and drive the productivity & operational performance of our operational teams.
  • Provide short-to-medium and seasonal manpower and ground support equipment requirements.
  • Provide annual budgets and resource projections for new and existing customers.
  • Conduct regular analysis of planned versus actual resource deployment to identify gaps and improvement areas.
  • Explore and work with external vendors and suppliers to understand the latest technological developments that can be introduced to improve operational efficiency.
  • Drive the use of business intelligence and data as a day-to-day management tool.
  • Coordinate and assist the management team in prioritizing strategic projects.
  • Lead and drive key strategic projects related to resource planning.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Business Operations Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience including 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven Project Management Skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Ability and willingness to challenge the status quo and facilitate discussions with business users and multiple parties.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
