Responsibilities

  •  A strategic business partner and works closely with key leaders and executive management to ensure HR effectiveness and maintain a positive culture while leading and promoting HR initiatives and programs that align with corporate goals and values and cope with anticipated business challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to organizational design, manpower planning, compensation & benefits and employee engagement
  • Designs and Implements HR initiatives and projects on employee engagement and change & transformation
  • Develop staffing and retention strategies to manage manpower planning and monitor labour quality and productivity
  • Leads a HR team to provide end to end HR services including business partnering to business units, compensation and benefits, leave management, disciplinary and grievance handling, performance management and succession plan
  • Reviews and updates company policies and procedures regularly to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and enhance the overall business efficiency & effectiveness
  • Formulates & implements talent development strategies and learning & development initiatives to ensure the right skills and capabilities to support operation and business growth
  • Facilitates departments in deriving succession plans, with constant review in ensuring operational sustainability across full spectrum of functional areas
  • Maintains a highly motivating and engaging culture and fostering an environment with high levels of teamwork, accountability, communication and vision to employees
  • Works closely with executive leaders and management to provide consultation on employment-related matters
  • Keeps the company abreast of current employment practices and informed of new developments by maintaining close contact with officials of the Labour Department, local association, education authorities and other institutes

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in HR Management, Business Administration or HR Management/Training related discipline
  •  Preferably with at least 10 years of relevant working experience in the management level in large organization with more than 1000 employees Conversant with all relevant employment laws and their implications and practices
  • Immense exposures in developing and administering HR system, HR analytics tools, technology and project management tools
  • Experience working in business partnering environment
  • Proven track record in prominent involvement in company continuous improvement and change management processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an analytical mindset
  • Experience in industrial relations advantageous
