Pierre Bastjaens
Chief Executive Officer
Pierre Bastjaens is the Chief Executive Officer — Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, HAS by Cathay, and Vogue Laundry — leading long term strategic directions to drive sustainable growth, service excellence, and financial strength across the four businesses.
Prior to his appointment in 2025, Pierre was General Manager, Procurement and Aircraft Trading at the Cathay Group, where he advanced strategic supplier partnerships and operational optimisation across the organisation. He joined the Cathay Group in 2011 and has since held leadership roles supporting the Group’s commercial and operational ambitions.

Gary Chui
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer of Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (HAS by Cathay), Gary Chui is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations. His leadership encompasses the delivery of exceptional value to customers, strategy development, people leadership, performance management, and commercials.
Gary began his career with Cathay Pacific in 2012 and has since held a variety of key roles spanning cargo, sales, inflight service, and airline planning. His work has taken him to pivotal markets including Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, and Japan, where he has developed a strong reputation for operational and service excellence and adept cross-cultural leadership.
Prior to his current role at HAS by Cathay, Gary served as Head of Cabin Crew, Inflight Service Delivery at Cathay Pacific. In this capacity, he led the cabin crew team in delivering Cathay Pacific’s world-class inflight service, creating memorable travel experiences for millions of passengers each year.

Ellie Yang
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer of the Cathay Subsidiary Services, Ellie oversees all financial management across the Cathay Subsidiaries Services, including Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (HAS by Cathay), Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining and Vogue Laundry. She is responsible for supporting robust financial decisioning, aligning financial controls and systems.
Ellie joined Cathay in 2021 as Finance Business Partner with Cathay Engineering team. Prior to joining Cathay, she had extensive experience in HAECO Group subsidiaries.

David Chung
General Manager Operations
As General Manager Operations of Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (HAS by Cathay), David is responsible for overseeing the core business operation of the company. His key responsibilities include people management, organisational development, ensuring operational stability and efficiency, and delivering high-quality customer services.
David joined HAS by Cathay in 2008 and has since held key roles responsible for operations, quality, business support and business improvement departments. In 2013, he joined Cathay Cargo Terminal in quality, training and development, and safety and security departments. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Head of Safety and Security at Cathay Subsidiary Services, overseeing all safety and security aspects across HAS by Cathay, Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining and Vogue Laundry, ranging from occupational health and safety to aviation safety.

Sally Wong
General Manager Customer and Commercial
As General Manager Customer and Commercial of Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (HAS by Cathay), Sally is responsible for sales and marketing, account management, commercial excellence, and market insights to support profitable business development.
Sally joined the Swire Group and Cathay Pacific Airways in 2010 and has since held key roles responsible for digital transformation, business process improvement, inflight services management and marketing across various locations including Hong Kong, United Kingdom and the Philippines. Prior to joining HAS by Cathay, she also served different roles within the Swire Group such as Senior Manager, Employee Experience in John Swire & Sons (HK) and Senior Manager, Digital at Swire Coca-Cola.

Oliver Setchell
General Manager Procurement
As General Manager Procurement of Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (HAS by Cathay), Oliver is responsible for driving value creation by providing strategic leadership in procurement for HAS by Cathay. This includes developing a procurement strategy to meet business goals, devise and implement category specific plans, and sourcing approaches to meet business needs.
Oliver joined Cathay Pacific in 2016 looking after airport commercial agreements and ground handling across the Group’s global network.

George Au
General Manager Safety and Operational Risk Management
As General Manager Safety and Operational Risk Management of Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (HAS by Cathay), George is responsible for the overall co-ordination of safety and security, risk management, quality and business improvement, and sustainable development for HAS by Cathay.
George has substantial work experience in Swire operating companies. He has previously worked in Cathay Dining for 7 years, and before joining HAS by Cathay, he led Quality, Safety and Sustainability in the Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan (SEAHKT) region of Swire Coca-Cola. He is a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in Biochemistry, and also obtained an Executive MBA degree from the Ivey School of Business, Western University.

Daniel Woo
General Manager Engineering
As General Manager Engineering of Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (HAS by Cathay), Daniel is responsible for the direct oversight of engineering strategy and planning, engineering projects, and its operations including vehicle and facilities management maintenance.
With more than 20 years of experience in the engineering industry, he specialises in driving engineering excellence and operational efficiency for automation systems. Additionally, he led more than 20 engineering projects across Asia, including initiatives in Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, and various cities in Chinese Mainland.
Prior to his appointment, he worked at a European international company and served as General Manager accountable for Chinese Mainland, where he managed the market in Chinese Mainland and oversaw its subsidiaries.
