Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving subsidiaries’ sales targets through effective management of sales & pricing strategies for subsidiaries products and services.

 

  • Responsible for working with COOs to:

    • Agree sales targets

    • Agree sales plans to deliver targets (forecasting, budgeting, focus etc.)

    • Aligning on appropriate trade-offs (collectively with COOs and CEO Subsidiaries)

 

  • Work with subsidiaries leadership and commercial teams to support the development of their products and services in line with target market needs and potential, including providing customer / market feedback

 

  • Develop commercial strategy for respective subsidiaries with the goal to maintain a balanced customer portfolio to maximise third party business contributions

 

  • Develop strategies to drive the future business via active engagement with customers, industry stakeholders and subsidiaries.

 

  • Develop commercial plans to improve the gross margin of sales in line with commercial targets.

 

  • Accountable for third party aviation and non-aviation sales and account management coordination and activities.

 

  • Accountable for Cathay account management across all subsidiary products and services.

 

  • Develop and implement the most appropriate organisational model to best interact with clients and customers at all stages of the sales cycle to support overall customer and commercial objectives for specific products and services.

 

  • Responsible for developing capability needs of customer and commercial teams and instigating appropriate capability development activities including sales and customer account management training.

 

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and ways for expanding new business

 

  • Develop and maintain marketing, brand and public relations strategies for all subsidiaries

 

  • Deliver against KPIS including gross revenue, cost of sales, customer satisfaction and customer retention.

Requirements

  • Degree holder or above in business administration, marketing and sales or related disciplines

 

  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in commercial, business development and/or customer services fields, including at least 5 years at managerial level. Relevant experience in cargo, airline catering, ground handling and/or laundry industries is highly beneficial.

 

  • People-oriented leader with strategic thinking and strong entrepreneurship skills.

 

  • Excellent commercial acumen with pricing experience and strong planning and organisation abilities

 

  • Customer-oriented mindset

 

  • Experienced in commercial account management skills, and how to co-ordinate sales and relationship management to meet commercial needs.

 

  • Experienced sales professional. Highly experienced negotiator with contracts experience and excellent influencing, interpersonal and presentation skills

 

  • Team player, who is also proactive and able to work independently

 

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese would be beneficial
