It is a moment of pride for Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (HAS by Cathay) as we celebrate our achievements at the Airfield and Baggage Hall Safety Campaign 2024, highlighting our dedication to safety excellence.

Our Accident Risk Management System (ARM), a cloud-based platform with live data installed across all buses and minibuses, has clinched the Airfield Safety Innovation Challenge – Best Safety Innovation Excellence Award. This real-time data system utilises a preventive approach to enhance driving safety, significantly reducing accident risks and fostering safer driving behaviour, thereby elevating airfield safety standards.

We also received 1st Runner Up in the Prevention of Failure to Give Way to Aircraft Video Competition with an engaging video featuring a trainer sharing essential safety tips and preventive measures for driving in the airfield area, showcasing our dedication to raising safety awareness.

Additionally, our teammate Mr. Tong Tung Sang from the Aircraft Handling Section received the Safety Role Model Award, recognised as one of 17 outstanding individuals for his exemplary safety commitment. His proactive approach and dedication to best practices set a strong example, reflecting our high safety standards and inspiring others.
